This last March 3rd there was a wee musical cabaret on at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in Ye Olde Londinium, by some pranksters called Nurse With Wound
Highlights included Matt Waldron of irr.app.(ext). singing what I'm told was a Billie Holiday song whilst playing his head as a percussion instrument, over the top of a typical NWW cacophony. And then there was Bosun Andro0 Liles using a toy whale as a musical instrument, and Freida Abtans amazing backing video
Various members of "The Slodge" met and admired each others varying degrees of hirsuteness.
This has been a test, this has only been a test........

i was put off going because i hate sitting down at gigs but everyone keeps telling me how great it was... maybe now steve has got the gigging bug he'll set up a national tour... i mean, i never thought i'd ever see Coil live and they pulled out the stops...
weird that all those comments were removed btw... what did they say?
fabulous photos, mr manatee...
the lighting was so moody most of my shots came out on the blurred side
Thanks Cloudy. I got plenty of unusuable ones as well, but pushing the ISO up to 1600 helped with the low light conditions.
So monsieur Manatee... you think this blogging thing agrees with you??

Baarsy ! Hello there. As you can tell from this blog being almost a year old , I have little to blog about, what with Flickr and Myspace taking up space in my virtual universe too. Maybe the forthcoming Current 93/Tiger Lillies weekend will result in some more activity. Thanks for the link, I'll have a wee look now.
Ah, JP! So nice to see you blogging. Will be interesting to see what bits you post for our edification. Mental health still paying well?
And Hulloooo to Baars as well!
I <3 your photography. Looking forward to your next blog post.
Hey thanks, next post is pencilled in for 2010, but you never know, might get something good from the Equinox Festival...
